Leo Michael Kroft

Somers Point, NJ – Leo Michael Kroft, age 88, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in Savannah, GA. The Easton, PA native had lived in Somers Point for the past fifty years. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and was retired from the casino industry in Atlantic City. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Ruth Davis Kroft.

Surviving are a step-daughter Dorothy Whithed Dunn and her husband, Dr. Thomas M. Dunn, of Savannah, GA; a step-son, Mardis Davis Whithed and his wife, Renee', of Haymarket, VA; six step-grandchildren, Larry Fletcher, David Whithed, Melissa Wood, Laura Futch, Lisa DuFresne, and Stephanie Woods; and several step-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with The Very Rev. William Willoughby III officiating.
Interment will be in the Atlantic County Veteran's Cemetery in Mays Landing, NJ.
